Clemson Blues Festival

Showcasing exceptional blues artists in concert at various venues throughout Clemson, SC and surrounding areas. The inspiration for the Clemson Blues Festival comes from the history of the Littlejohn’s Grill, an African American nightclub (1945-1968). Located along a music corridor once known as the "chitlin’ circuit," the Grill hosted scores of major Blues, R&B and Jazz musicians.

Do you like James Brown, Guy Clark, Otis Redding, The Supremes, Elvis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Duke Ellington or Etta James? Then you like the Blues. Elements of the Blues are present in many forms of music from Hip Hop to Country and from Jazz to Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The 2015 dates will be April 15 - 25th. To keep up with how the plans are progressing - Check at www.clemsonbluesfest.org   for specific dates, times, and locations - this festival just keeps on growing!
